ORLANDO (CBS Tampa) – Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, a place universally heralded as the magical land “where dreams come true” for children of all ages.

It is also the nation’s most commercially successful city for pornography.

According to an in-depth study conducted and published by Men’s Health magazine, Orlando experiences the highest combined rates of pornography DVD purchases, rentals and online streams and porn searches.

Tampa ranked eighth on the list, flanked by Atlanta and Anchorage, Alaska.

The number of adult entertainment stores per capita and soft-core Cinemax subscriptions were also reviewed.

In addition to Orlando securing the top spot on the list of cities, Florida also earned top ranking for states.

Las Vegas came in second place, with Wilmington, Del., Raleigh, N.C. and Charlotte, N.C., rounding out the top five on the list, which went live late last month.

Cities such as Baton Rouge, La., and Jackson, Miss., were at the bottom of the list.

Google Insights, AdultDVDEmpire.com, StorErotica.net and SimplyMap all helped in collecting data that led the magazine to its conclusion.
