To celebrate the magnificent sunset the bar hands out free tropical shots every night after the sun has disappeared. Bongos is also your headquarters for fresh frozen tropical drinks, they boast over 200 on their menu. They serve mostly burgers, salads, wraps and seafood. Some scenes from the soon to be released movie with James Franco and Selena Gomez were shot here. Bongos is casual, fun, romantic and has live music.

Spinners Revolving Rooftop Bistro – Resort

Spinners is the only rooftop revolving lounge and Bistro on the Gulf Coast. It is just above Bongos in the Grand Plaza Florida Hotel. You can see the beach at sunset and the city lights after dark.  It takes about 1 1/2 hours from the restaurant to revolve completely around. They have signs posted at each table telling you the location and distance of various cities in the horizon. In addition to the stunning gulf view you can see the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Tropicana Field and thousands of city lights.  The menu ranges from Filet Mignon to seafood.
