LAKELAND, Fla. (CBS Tampa) - A robber hit a Lakeland McDonald’s manager with a baseball bat and demanded food on Sunday night, police say.
Around 10:30 p.m., the suspect entered the McDonald’s, located at 715 East Memorial Boulevard, and jumped over the counter, demanding food. The manager was hit with a baseball bat in the ribs and taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
The unidentified manager was not seriously hurt in the assault. Police are still searching for the suspect.
