WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) — Twenty-nine arrests were made during an undercover prostitution sting in Polk County.
Sheriff Grady Judd said the arrests took place Friday in the Winter Haven area. He says the county “will not tolerate prostitution.”
A press release says a 75-year-old Department of Agriculture employee solicited an undercover detective for sex while he was on duty and driving his department issued vehicle. Also among the arrests was a 50-year-old man who told detectives he was an engineer for NASA.
