Sunday Shooting Leaves Woman Dead, Man Wounded

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS Tampa) –  Tampa detectives are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a 26-year-old woman dead and a 21-year-old man wounded.

Police say the victims were sitting in a parked car at 3501 East Hillsborough Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday morning when a shooter fired at their vehicle.  The names of the victims have not yet been released.

The male victim reportedly suffered life-threatening wounds.  Police were searching for the victims’ next of kin and following leads in the shooting.
