3 Injured After Fight Breaks Out on Ben Davis Beach

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS Tampa) –  A police chase ensued after a fight on Ben T. Davis Beach injured three people Sunday night, according to Tampa police.

The fight broke out around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.  According to the Tampa Bay Times, one person was shot in the buttocks, one person was stabbed and one person was hit with a bottle.

The victims were taken to the hospital, but their conditions have not been released.

When police arrived on the scene, officers noticed a fleeing car and followed the suspects until the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed at Memorial Highway and Kennedy Boulevard.

The suspects names have not yet been released.  Tampa police are further investigating the incident.
