America’s Got Talent Needs Audience Members for St. Petersburg Live Show

By Barbara Ann Kelley,

ST PETERSBURG, Fla. (CBS Tampa) –  Do you have talent? Should you be on TV? If so get your act together because the hit NBC show America’s Got Talent is coming to the Mahaffey Theater to discover your talents as an audience member.

AGT the NBC hit reality talent show will be taping two live shows April 3 and 4 at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.  The show needs you to be part of their lively audience cheering or booing for your favorite talent on stage. The audience is basically the fourth judge!

This will be a live taping so the reality show star judges – Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, host Nick Cannon and newest judge radio bad boy Howard Stern will all be present as well.

AGT is giving away free seats to both live shows. They are looking for 2,000 of Tampa Bay’s most eager, energetic fans. They are also looking for large school or church groups to join the audience. This would be a great way to raise money for your favorite school charity.

Minimum age to attend the two-day taping is 14. Here is the link to register and read the rules.

This year’s season premieres on NBC over the summer. There is no word on when the Mahaffey Theater episode would air.
