ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A rupture in a gas main on Friday afternoon is responsible for some tense moments in St. Petersburg.
A gas leak in a 4-inch line at 14th Street and 7th Avenue North near downtown St. Petersburg cause the evacuation of nine homes.
Around 5 p.m. the leak had been fixed and awhile later the evacuation was lifted.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
