Note Found at Fitzgerald Middle School Says Bomb Will Go Off at 3 PM

LARGO, Fla. (CBS TAMPA) – Students from a Largo middle school were evacuated Thursday due to a bomb threat.

Pinellas Park Police state that around 10 a.m. a message was found in a bathroom at Fitzgerald Middle School. Police say the note indicated a bomb was set to go off in the school at 3 p.m.

The students were taken to Pinellas Park High School.

As a precautionary measure, law enforcement and school officials stated they evacuation of the school so that a thorough sweep of the facility can take place with the bomb squad.

Police say no device has been located at this time.

    I can’t believe that the photo use for this story is from the high school shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton Colorado in 1999. How is this ethical. Using a nearly 14 year old photo from a completely different news event and with an explanation in the caption.
