Largo Woman Rams Car In Drive-Through Lane

By Allison Mondell, CBS Tampa

LARGO, Fla. (CBS Tampa) –  An impatient woman rammed her car in a drive-through lane at a KFC/Taco Bell in Largo on Saturday night.

According to Largo police, Jennifer L. Betterly, 24, was angry at how long the woman ahead of her was taking to order food.  She screamed at the woman and rammed her Ford Focus into the woman’s car several times.  She drove off without ever getting any food.

Police arrested Betterly about an hour after the incident.  Arrest records show that Betterly is charged with aggravated battery, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance.  Police say that Zolpidem, also known as the sleep-aid drug Ambien, was found in her car.  Betterly could not prove that she was prescribed for the drug.
