Pasco Firefighter Rushed to Hospital After Battling a House Fire

LACOOCHEE, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – According to Pasco County Fire Rescue a firefighter was rushed to a hospital early Friday night after helping fight a house blaze in Lacoochee.

The firefight has not been named and is undergoing medical evaluation at a local hospital. It is know what his medical condition is or if he was injured in the fire.

Fire Officials say the home located on Ramer Road in Lacoochee is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
