The Rays new mascot is named DJ Kitty and will not replace Raymond as the official mascot of the team. DJ Kitty will serve as a secondary mascot or back up mascot. DJ Kitty will make appearances and help Raymond out with his official duties.

DJ Kitty gets his own Rays uniform and will be wear a cowbell around his neck to help cheer on the team.

The DJ Kitty mascot is named after the cat that spins records on videos played at the ball park during games.
