3 Killed in SUV Overturn in Hillsborough County

RUSKIN, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed three people riding in an SUV that overturned in Hillsborough County.

Authorities still don’t know who was driving the car early Sunday and the victims were not immediately identified.

The Highway Patrol reports that the SUV was heading north on U.S. 41 when the driver lost control of the car. It went onto the median and overturned.

All three passengers were thrown from the car. They were pronounced dead on the scene.

Troopers say the passengers were not wearing a seat belt.
