MOSI Festival of Chocolate

MOSI, Tampa
MOSI in Tampa is holding a festival this weekend celebrating all things chocolate. The festival showcases the area’s top chocolatiers and confectioners, who sell everything a choc-o-holic will love. There will be a children’s chocolate area and an “adult-only chocolate playhouse” where chocolate martinis and chocolate wine will be sold. Tampa Bay Brewing will offer a Cocoa Nib beer for a short time on Saturday. MOSI’s Festival of Chocolate is fun for the whole family.
Winter Jam – Christian/Alternative Rock

The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, Christian music‘s largest annual tour is coming to the Tampa Bay Times Forum 6 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012. Founded and hosted by Grammy-nominated Christian music mainstay NewSong and headlined by Grammy-nominated alternative rockers Skillet. The tour will also feature Sanctus Real, former Newsboys frontman Peter Furler, Kari Jobe, Building 429, Group 1 Crew, illusionist Brock Gill, and national speaker Nick Hall. In addition, the OneVerse Pre-Jam Party will include performances from Dara Maclean, For King & Country, and We As Human. VeggieTales’ Bob and Larry will also make a special appearance.
Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival
Jan 14 – 15 Hours: 10 – 5pm
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Tampa
Part of the 10-day “Keep the Dream Alive” celebration, a two-day Black Heritage Street Festival features live entertainment, food and craft vendors, drum circle, authors’ village, free health screenings, and a children’s Village.

Monday, Jan. 16 Time: 12 nooon

Tampa Nautical Flea Market & Seafood Festival
Jan. 13 – 15 Hours: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
East Bay Speedway, Tampa
There will be many of Florida’s top fishing tackle and marine stores at this event. In addition there will be a liquidation sale on various large quantities of merchandise new and used factory refurbished and closeout. This will be the best place to find bargains on quality fishing equipment and boating supplies stock up know. Beer and wine gardens, live music and seafood. Tickets are $7 with children 12 and under free.
