BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) — The Manatee School District will pick up all medical expenses of the 22 students injured in a school bus crash.

A school bus video camera captured the screams of the students as the bus slammed into a tractor-trailer in East Manatee on Thursday. School officials called a news conference Friday to play the video.

School officials say that there was no sign that the driver, 68-year-old Charles Robert Orr, tried to hit the brakes before the impact with the truck.

Authorities cited Orr with careless driving. He was also injured in the crash.
