PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (AP) — A Tampa Bay area man has been arrested in a sexual abuse case from the 1980s — two days after he got out of prison for another molestation.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said 42-year-old David Allshouse was arrested Tuesday while he was checking in with his probation officer. The Pinellas Park man had just gotten out of prison Sunday after serving more than seven years for 2003 child sexual battery convictions.
A sheriff’s report said the newest victim reported the abuse from the 1980s when he learned Allshouse would be getting out of prison soon. The victim, now grown and living out of state, said the abuse occurred for four years when Allshouse was babysitting him.
Records did not say if Allshouse has an attorney yet.
