FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — Fort Pierce authorities take a bite out of crime after a woman throws a sandwich at a police officer.
According to a report from the Fort Pierce Police Department, Iesha Harris, 20, and her companion George Jacobs, 56, were pulled over on Dec. 16 for parking in the middle of a two-lane road.
When officers went up to the car, Jacobs said he just pulled over to pick up Harris and take her home. As officers were questioning Jacobs, Harris began to “act up,” took a bite out of her sandwich and hurled it at an officer, according to the police report.
Harris was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and also battery on an officer after kicking the cops as she was being arrested. She is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail.
Jacobs was also taken into custody for being in possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
