2011-2012 Outback Bowl’s New Year’s Eve Parade is in Ybor

The Michigan State Spartans and Georgia Bulldogs will square-off in the Outback Bowl on January 2nd at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.  Leading up to these two powerhouse teams coming helmet to helmet will be a parade and pep rally in Ybor City on New Year’s Eve which is Saturday, December 31.

The  Outback Bowl parade and pep rally featuring floats, college cheerleaders and more than 20 marching bands will begin at 5:30 on East 7th Avenue in Tampa’s historic Ybor City.

Tickets to the 2012 Outback Bowl are on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster. The bowl will play host to teams from the Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference on Monday, January 2nd in Raymond James Stadium. Kick-off time is 1:00 P.M. ET.
