65 tons of snow have been dropped on North Straub Park in St. Petersburg for Saturday’s Snowfest. On Saturday December 3, gates for Snowfest will open at 11 in the morning. Everyone is invited to come play in the holiday spirit in the fresh snow till 3 in the afternoon.
This St Petersburg event is a wonderful family event that costs $5 for a wrist band and then it’s all the snow, toboggans, rock climbing a person can take.
There is also skating on a man-made surface that is just like ice skating but without the cold hard fall.
