Students injured in school bus crash

GULFPORT, Fla. (AP) — Officials say six students were hospitalized with minor injuries following a TampaBay area school bus crash.

The Pinellas County School District reports that the bus hit a small pylon Thursday morning at Boca Ciega High School. Most of the 28 students on the bus were checked at the scene and released.

Officials say the bus was going less than 5 mph when the collision occurred. The crash remained under investigation.
