Small and big kids can meet up with Santa just before the big night at North Straub Park in St. Petersburg starting Thursday December 15-23 from 6-9 p.m.
Visits with Santa are free. Santa will leave promptly at 9 p.m. each night to return to the North Pole, so don’t be late.
The Park will be a glow in other Holiday activities including, family Glice skating. No I didn’t spell that wrong. It’s a concrete pad with a plastic cover that’s coated in silicone. It skates like the real deal but it isn’t as hard…or cold. Family Glice skating is from 6-9 nightly. Glice skating costs $5 per person for 30 minutes, and includes your skates. Don’t forget to bring socks to use with the skates.
There is also a giant community Greeting Card Contest display along Bayshore Drive at Vinoy Park, in addition to the holiday lights in North and South Straub Park.
