DCF secretary to host adoption webcast

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida Department of Children and Families Secretary David Wilkins will be hosting a live webcast on adoption.

November is National Adoption Month and hundreds of foster children are being adopted in ceremonies around the state.

Wilkin’s discussion will focus on improving recruitment efforts for adoptive families and better ways to support them after the adoption.

The webcast will be from 3-4 p.m. on Monday and can be viewed at http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/webcast.shtml.
