CITRUS PARK, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — Florida authorities got the last laugh on an alleged comedian bank robber.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeffrey Lluis, 27, for allegedly robbing the same bank twice over three days.

Authorities said Lluis walked into a Citrus Park Suntrust Bank Tuesday and demanded money after saying he was carrying an explosive device. He then allegedly did the same thing Thursday at the bank.

“He approached the same teller. Even said, ‘Yes, it’s me again. Give me all your money,’” Capt. Andy Ross told WTSP-TV.

Lluis would perform as an amateur comedian during open mic nights at Tampa comedy clubs.

Lluis has been charged with robbery and possession of cocaine. He also has previous arrests for drug possession.
