Get your stomaches ready! The best barbecue ribs in the world will be available November 11 – 13 for you to chow down at Ribfest 2011 in St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park.
Bright House Networks Ribfest 2011 marks its 22nd year of helping a variety of youth-oriented causes “one rib at a time”.
Starting Friday and continuing through Sunday Vinoy Park on the downtown St. Pete waterfront will bursting at its seams with ribs, a family fun zone that is huge and music.
Taking the main stage this year are Drake White, John Fogerty, Outlaws, Styx , Trace Adkins, presented by BC Powder along with Stealing Angels and the JaneDear girls and many more.
On Saturday there will even be a Classic Car and Truck Show will a Motorcycle show on Sunday.
The Family Fun Zone open 11am – 5pm will include interactive games, a video game theater and 4 D Movie, giant inflatables, face painting, make-and-take crafts, a putt putt golf course and more. There is even a kids’ cafe.
Gates will open daily at 11 a.m. Friday – Sunday. Admission: $20 at the gate. Children under 12 are free.
There is a Transamerica Boss Hog ticket which includes: 4 drinks, a lunch & diner ticket, chair in stage front reserved seating area, plus PRIVATE Boss Hog bar and restroom facilities. Price: $158.50
Through the years Ribfest proceeds have contributed over $3.4 million to local causes including, All Children’s Hospital, Child abuse prevention centers and other organizations.
Here is the main stage band schedule for all three days. The main stage is located near the north end of waterfront part of Vinoy Park. Music starts at 6pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
