Do You Have Talent? America’s Got Talent Wants You to Audition

Auditions for the NBC TV show America’s Got Talent are being held this Saturday and Sunday at the Tampa Convention Center.

If you can sing, dance or do anything remotely entertaining America’s Got Talent wants you. These auditions are open to any age and any talent. The doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. both days.

You must be pre-registered to audition. Here is the link to their website to pre-register before the auditions.

If the website says the auditions for Tampa are closed you may also submit a video tape of your talents. Details on the video tape submission is also on their website.

Everyone under 18 attending the audition will be required to present a photo ID. There are strict rules for auditioning minors so please go to the America’s Got Talent website and print out all necessary paperwork.

There will be no tickets given out or sold to view the acts auditioning.

Along with bringing your talent, you’ll need:

Contestants:

1) Photo ID

2) Completed Audition Information and Personal Release Form

3) Animal inoculation records (if applicable)

Contestants under 18:

1) Photo ID

2) Completed Audition Information and Personal Release Form (with parent signature)

3) If the minor contestant’s parent or guardian will not be at the audition: Notarized and completed Guardianship and Medical Authorization for Minors form. If the parent or guardian will be there, you do not need to get this notarized.

4) If the minor contestant’s parent or guardian will not be at the audition: Make sure pages 7-8 and 12 of Audition Information and Personal Release Form is signed by parent AND third-party.

Family and Friends:

1) Photo ID

2) Completed Basic Release

Family and Friends under 18:

1) Photo ID

2) Completed Basic Release (with parent signature)

3) If the minor’s parent or guardian will not be at the audition: Notarized and completed Guardianship and Medical Authorization for Minors form.

4) If the minor’s parent or guardian will not be at the audition: Make sure page 2 of Basic Release is signed by parent AND third-party.

There is additional paperwork needed if:

1) You have an animal act.
