Bucs activate LS Andrew Economos to active roster

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have activated long snapper Andrew Economos from the reserve/non-football Injury list and released safety David Sims.

Since signing with the Bucs in 2006, Economos has appeared in 67 games as the club’s primary long snapper. He missed the start of the season while recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.

Sims is an undrafted free agent who had been with the Bucs since Tuesday.
