Tampa’s Best Year Round Farmer’s Markets

There are many seasonal Tampa Bay Farmer’s Markets that have fresh local produce, but only a handful year round. If you are looking for a local flavor in food and atmosphere, these three choices are top-notch.

Hillsborough County:

The Ybor City Saturday Market is open year round and has regionally grown produce. The weekly market also includes tasty gourmet foods and sauces, fresh-baked breads, prepared foods, coffees and teas, jellies, books, baked goods, herbs and plants, pet treats, honey, fine cigars, unique gifts, photography, artwork, jewelry, woodworking, bath and body products, and candles. There is free parking, free admission, and pets are welcomed. Opened every Saturday rain or shine: 9am – 1pm  May – September and 9am – 3pm  October – April.

Year round, the Gulfport Market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, including locally grown seasonal produce from farms in the area, as well as fresh bread, cheese, seafood, live herbs, plants, fresh flowers, nuts, honey, pet treats, smoothies, hand-made soaps, local art, crafts, jewelry, candles and healing lotions and oils. You and the family can charter a kayak tour at the Market, consult an astrologer or try on a henna tattoo. Watch a pottery wheel demonstration. The kids will love to visit with rescued parrots from the Pinellas Suncoast Parrot Sanctuary on the first Tuesday of each month.

This is a Weekly Sunday farmers market with fresh produce, cheeses, honey and more.  Shop or relax sit under the trees while having a peaceful lunch. There also will be live music every Sunday.

This charming and classy Fresh Market takes place the first Sunday of every month year round. With space for over 70 vendors, shoppers enjoy a variety of agricultural, artistic, homemade and handmade goods, as well as take-home and ready-to-eat foods. The Fresh Market will also feature live music, cooking demos, and plenty of outdoor seating.
