TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Fuel and other cost recovery fees are going up for one Florida electric utility but down for two others in 2012.
The Public Service Commission on Tuesday set annual recovery fees for fuel and purchased power, conservation, capacity and environmental costs.
Florida Power & Light Co. customers using 1,000 kilowatt hours a month — considered about average for a home — will see their bills increase by $2.50 a month to $99.04.
The monthly bill for the same usage by a Tampa Electric Co. customer will drop by 12 cents to $106.90.
For a Gulf Power Co. customer the reduction would be $1.37 for a monthly bill of $125.79.
