Cops: Florida Man Beats Girlfriend for Waking Him Up With Sex Toy

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A Florida man is behind bars for allegedly beating his girlfriend because a sex toy she was using woke him up.

Jeffery Bowers of Bonita Springs was arrested early Halloween morning for allegedly kicking his girlfriend in the face and dragging her throughout the home after she woke him up by playing with a sex toy in bed.

WTSP-TV reports that the woman was found by police to be kicked out of the home with bruises on her arms and a swollen eye. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is charging him with battery.

Bowers, 53, told police that he became agitated once he discovered his girlfriend pleasuring herself with the assistance of a sex toy. After asking her to stop so he could sleep, he asked the woman to fetch him his cigarettes from the porch, which she did. When she attempted to return, Bowers told police that he pushed her out the door and locked it.

Bowers remains in custody and is scheduled in court Nov. 22. No bond has been set. Bowers was already facing a Nov. 15 court date for a recent DUI offense, according to police records.
