The next thing in social networking… GetGlue…? So… what the hell is GetGlue and what could it possibly do that Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Foursquare don’t already do?

People tell each other many things on Facebook, they check-in to places to let all of their friends know where they are at, and they are constantly updating their status, letting everyone know every detail of their life. Social networking is how we have all learned to communicate. But, their may be something that we have all been missing… How do you tell your friends about a great TV show or an amazing book that you just read?

GetGlue is a social networking site helps users discover their next favorite film, book, TV show, or other form of entertainment. It presents a fun way to discover new media and connect online. It’s not always easy to recommend something to a friend and GetGlue helps simplify the process. It is great for anyone who loves to spend time online, social networking and enjoys entertainment. Many genres are covered and users can have fun connecting with others and discovering new books, movies and other forms of entertainment. What do you think? Would you try it?
